Lead mechanical engineer for Speciality Retail group working on Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel, CB2, West Elm, Uniqlo, and REI. Conducted onsite surveys, determined best approach to connceting to a variety of mall settings and applied client standards and prototypical branding to adapt to site conditions.

Lead mechanical engineer on grocery store projects like Safeway, QFC, Target, Walmart and Winco. Adhered to client standards, scheduled a team of engineers and designers, conducted quality controls including closeout and commissiong services.

Worked on retail banking for Key Bank, Chase, Numerica and Homestreet, along with office restacks in high rises and projects for Clearwire in numerous business parks.

1999 Senior Engineer

Hultz BHU Engineers, Januray 1999-July 2007, Tacoma, Washington

Worked on multiple school projects within several school districts, designing elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, vocational schools and community colleges. Services  included Life Cycle Cost Analysis, following Ed Specs, Design Development through Construction Administration Services.

Project Manager for maintanance and school district facilities including shops, central kitchens, maintenance shops, school bus repair, fueling stations and school bus washing.

1992 Project Engineer

TEI, July 1992-April 1998, Renton, Washington

Mechanincal Engineer for Costco Wholesale projects throughout the USA and Canada. Worked on minor remodels to brand new superstores, adhered to brand standards and managed roll out of projects in accelerated site procurement and construction schedule. Lead mechanical engineer to convert the fleet of Price Club stores when purchased by Costco.

Projects included full service bakeries, meat and seafood departments, delis, pizza kitchens, pharmacies, tire centers and photo shops.

1986 Project Engineer

Tres West Engineers, January 1985-April 1992, Tacoma, Washington

Mechanical Engineer for goverment projects, schools, maintenance facilities and a variety of other project types. Wrote specifications and Life Cycle Cost Reports for schools.

Led a team of drafters and designers for mechanical and electrical systems.
